CONSERVING OUR OCEANS
To draw attention to the plight of our oceans, OMEGA produced the powerful ecodocumentary Planet Ocean in 2012. Directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Michael Pitiot, the film is a call to all people to preserve the intrinsic beauty and value of the marine world.
The film made its debut at the 2012 Rio+20 Earth Summit in Brazil. The following year, Planet Ocean was presented at a special event at the United Nations in New York to an audience that included UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
