In Firenze, beauty is paved into the bricks. It could be argued that former residents of the city practically invented it. So it's no surprise that Florence is location-of-choice for Pitti Uomo, a celebration of men's fashion and accessories.

Established in 1972, Pitti Uomo, is now a bi-annual event on the fashion calendar, attracting leading menswear designers, and of course, the world's best-dressed men.

Among the fashionistas at the most recent Pitti Uomo, were three classically-dapper gentlemen with a passion for OMEGA watches. London architect and model Timothy James, American style-consultant Frank Gallucci and Paris-based model and photographer Raphaël Spezzotto-Simacourbe all made the best of the city's many aesthetic attributes to showcase their own timeless style.

If ever proof were needed that beautiful architecture provides the perfect backdrop for meticulous personal style, the images captured by the influential trio speak for themselves.
