Launched to mark the 125th anniversary of the OMEGA brand, this extraordinary limited edition pocket watch houses a beautifully made reconstruction of the 19-ligne Calibre - the movement that gave the company its name. Appropriately limited to just 19 pieces, it is both exquisite and exclusive.
Masterpiece in gold
OMEGA’s commemorative pocket watch has an 18K Canopus gold™ case body, decorated in red enamel, and two watch covers in 18K Sedna™ gold - both opened by a twist of the same ingenious crown. As the famous calibre’s time setting function is at 3 o’clock, OMEGA opted for a “half hunter” pocket watch, as opposed to a Lépine watch with an open face. A classic case of form following function.
“Reconstructed and reborn, OMEGA’s famous 19-ligne movement now powers a watch worthy of its extraordinary legacy.”
A famous calibre reborn
Powering the pocket watch is a meticulous reconstruction of the famous 19-ligne “OMEGA” Calibre, created by the skilled watchmakers at OMEGA’s Atelier Tourbillon in Switzerland. The movement includes original components stored away for almost 100 years. OMEGA’s expert artisans also embellished the movement with an intricate “damaskeening” decoration - a style first used in the early 20th century.

“Engraved on the 18K Canopus gold™ caseback, is the limited edition number - one of only nineteen.”
Beautiful open or closed
The front cover, with central portal for reading the time when the pocket watch is closed, has Roman numerals and a minute track in red enamel. Opening the front cover reveals a white "Grand Feu" enamel dial with 18K Sedna™ gold hands. Engraved on the exterior of the rear cover is the god Chronos. On the calibre-facing side is a 125th anniversary logo.
