To celebrate the 36th America's Cup which Emirates Team New Zealand won in 2021, the Seamaster Planet Ocean America's Cup Edition pays tribute to OMEGA's role as Official Timekeeper of the historic "Auld Mug" sailing competition. <p> The special 43.5 mm stainless steel watch is inspired by the colours of the event's logo in red, white and blue, specifically featuring a white polished ceramic dial with the inscription "36th AMERICA'S CUP" displayed at 6 o'clock. <p> Details include the helium escape valve located at 10 o'clock, a distinctive feature of diving and sailing watches, as well as a blue ceramic bezel displaying a diving scale, a 5‑minute countdown and the START inscription in white and red liquid ceramic. <p> Limited to just 2,021 pieces, this model is water‑resistant to 60 bar (600 meters) and was designed to deal with the conditions of racing at sea. The sapphire crystal caseback features a wave pattern, a commemorative inscription and the America's Cup logo. Mounted on a structured blue rubber strap, the sport’s watch is driven by a superb Co‑Axial Master Chronometer movement.
