#MOONWATCH
In 1969, a unique gold Speedmaster was created to celebrate the success of Apollo 11. Only 1,014 pieces were made, with numbers 3 – 28 being gifted to NASA’s serving astronauts. Today’s new watch remains true to that sought-after design.
Much of this incredible watch, including the 42 mm case and bracelet, has been created in 18K Moonshine™ gold – a unique new alloy which is a paler hue than traditional yellow gold and is more resistant to fading over time.

The 18k MoonshineTM Gold hours-markers are set with facetted black onyx.
The burgundy ceramic bezel ring includes the classic ´Dot over 90´ marker in tribute to Speedmaster history.
A brushed-polished bracelet in the five-arched-links-per-row design.
Laser ablation and PVD colour treatments have produced a blue ocean and world map that looks down on Cape Canaveral.
In true proportion to the world map, a domed lunar meteorite has been used to represent the moon on the caseback.
In perfect match with burgundy bezel ring, burgundy markings are also found on caseback and movement.
This Speedmaster is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 – a bold evolution of OMEGA’s famous Calibre 1861. As the brand’s first manual-winding chronograph movement to be Master Chronometer certified, it includes gold plated bridges, burgundy markings and Co-Axial technology.
