20 Years of the OMEGA Masters

The 74th edition of the OMEGA Masters golf tournament has been played at the famous Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Switzerland. This year marks OMEGA’s 20th year as the event’s title sponsor, having first teed of their partnership in 2001.

With the tournament postponed in 2020, it was particularly special to welcome friends and players back to the mountains for the annual week of spectacular views and premium golfing action. The fun began with the traditional Pro-Am event, featuring a mix of talents out on the course. OMEGA’s own celebrity friends were part of the action, including actor’s Tom Felton and Luke Wilson, along with ex-footballing star Paul Ince. It was a chance to show off their own skills of precision as they joined the professionals out on the greens.

From Thursday morning, the main OMEGA Masters event got underway. With a rich heritage dating back to 1923, this tournament gives every player a chance to enter their name into the history books, alongside previous legendary winners such as Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els and Sergio Garcia. In 2021, it was Rasmus Højgaard who topped the leaderboard. With his astonishing victory, he claimed the famous red jacket and an OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra as his prize.

Now celebrating two decades of golf in the mountains, OMEGA is already looking forward to the tournament’s return in 2022.
